  Hi, yes this would be a great idea so that I don`t have to keep clicking on the player to pause/forward skip/backward skip songs, as sometimes I listen to something I like, don`t get back to the player in time and end up starting the next song - which I don`t want to happen! Therefore it would be great to use keyboard controls to aid the player - Spotify currently has this so it is definitely possible :)

  Would be awesome, cause at the moment, I can't use my media keys on my keyboard because I can't map them to anything :(.

  ... but make them so we can turn them off, *please*! Don't make them like Flickr's keyboard controls that hijack the normal browser shortcuts and can't be turned off.
