@Senam - you can get to the old site on subscription.we7.com. If you want to see all the reasons behind the change then take a look in the forums in the Old Free Site section. There is loads of detail about it there.

Gareth I agree with kayakercat this is very fustrating dont know what song are coming up and i cant rearrange or delete i dont even know how to add current playing songs. This new version is actually more fustrating and harder than the old version. Believe or not the old version was better and we were use to. I was actually going to switch to a premium account cause me and my freinds use to love this website. But now theirs no point upgrading/ paying for something i didnt want change or paying for somethin that fustrating.

I completely agree! The site was so much easier to understand before it got re-vamped, now there's only a few choices we have! I much prefered the older one, because there was more of a choice to do what we wanted to do. I miss having playlists :(

I am confused. what do you mean between new and old site? I am a premium plus user and am getting hacked off with the editing playlist. i want to group all the albums of one artist in the same playlist, but it keeps adding the album to the same playlist and does not give me the opportunity to select the playlist, it used to. anyone know what has changed?

So you know, if you go to the subscription site even with it in preview mode you can still edit your playlists as you previously could. I do find it odd that you can play your playlists on the new site but no indication is given on how to change them, you have to do it on the old site.

I personally miss the fact that you can't edit the playlist you currently are listening to and you can't choose which song comes on next...or can we and I just don't know how to as I haven't used we7 in a while. All being said though, I loved the old blue and black we7 and the way you could use a drop down list to choose songs, add or remove, change their position in the playlist and in a few cases purchase tracks EASILY it took me minutes to get used to and fully utilise the whole of we7 on the old site but on this new one I find it very restricting and cumbersome.

Facebook app isn't a great idea for a lot of people who listen at school or work and have facebook blocked. Please adad a queue and a play button this is doing my head in. :(

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. We are looking at creating a Facebook app that would allow you to make stations. You could then play these from within we7. We don't want to add playlist functionality to the site because we want to keep it very simple. Would the Facebook app be something you would use?

Hi Gareth, sorry about the slight misunderstanding, I wasn't quite sure if the original idea was aimed at that direction. Thanks for the help.

@tt1183 - I understand what you mean now. You are talking about the subscription site and not we7.com. Adding the loved songs to a playlist by default is an interesting idea. I will have a chat with some of the guys here and see what they think.

@ Gareth, the radio itself is fine, although at times it can be very hit and miss with the various genres, as in switching between rock, country and dance. The main problem is having to mess about putting "loved" songs into a playlist, not such a problem when there is the time to do that, just when there isn't and it's easy to just to click one icon there soon ends up a backlog. Then you have the problem of creating more playlists just to remove the risk of adding duplicates. Is it possible to link the "heart" to automatically add these songs to a specific playlist. The radio side is excellent for introducing more songs and artists, only its too easy to lose track. I can't speak for others but I'd happily pay more for that feature.

@rt1183 - does the "username" radio that you get when you log in not do what you want? If not, what would make it better?

I agree this would be extremely helpful. Don't get me wrong, the personal radio feature is good, but it's almost worthless loving a song which you would then have to concentrate on adding to a playlist. Currently there is over a 1000 in that section alone.

Hey guys,
You can still do this. If you log in and go to the home page the station on the top left is your personal station. It plays your loved songs and related music. The more loved songs you have the more of them it plays. We are also improving this feature over the coming month or so.

You can just create a loved songs playlist, and add it to that. Its a hack - aye and you shouldnt need to hack.
Plus it required too many clicks, so my loved songs and loved songs playlist are never in sync.

Hi Gareth,
Whilst the "username radio" makes some sense (and great for finding new songs/bands), it would be great if I could hit a link and it plays just the loved songs. Sometimes I'm not looking for new music, and some of the not-quite-right suggestions can be irritating...
